May 10th 2012 8th Grade Springfield Trip

Had a great time! The 8th graders (along with Ms.Z, Mr. Mitchell, Mrs. Balaja, and Mrs. Doty) hopped into the Doty bus and spent the day at our state's capitol. We started out at New Salem, followed by Lincoln's Tomb, the Capitol building (and even met the govenor!), and ended w/ nearby Lincoln's home. Was alot of fun! We are looking for families to host foreign exchange students for our upcoming school year....can you help? If so, then this is what you need to do Call 888-743-8721 (www.pie-usa.org) They are the new company we will be working with this upcoming year They will help you begin the screening process and once you have done that, they will allow you to begin viewing the profiles of their students looking for an American Family to call their own next year... maybe it's yours? One other perk is that hosting will count as your fundraising committment for next year...so let the office know TODAY that you are interested! Haven't been blogging like I wanted to this year....probably because it has been SO BUSY! What a great year we have had! Looking forward to next year!
